Maanantaina 1. helmikuuta 2010 · Marius

please note that the sliding door had been custom made by HONKATALOT chief constructor. we placed isolation inside to ensure to have a sound barrier.

we needed to protect the steam shelter a bid as it’s not for sauna temparatures. so we decided to double the batten installation, placing styropor to protect it from drying out too fast. next was of course the aluminium steam shelter. ;-)

also we finished the steam shelter work by taping all gaps between OSB and wooden pillars to prevent steam getting into the floor.

Day #125: Electrician Finishes Preparation Work

Maanantaina 1. helmikuuta 2010 · Marius

the electrician finished all the cable preparation work today. finally he installed the cabinet at the wall in technic room. parallel i went behind him secretly to check whether there had been any non commented holes in the steam shelter: remember, the electrician is the main enemy of your steam shelther.

next i had to install the paper at the walls which prevents that isolation dust will smuggle itself through the panels creating dust within the interior rooms. please note: this had been a great advise of our HONKATALOT chief constructor. thanx once again for the hint.
