Day #89: Again Isolation Work Near Technic Room

Sunnuntaina 13. joulukuuta 2009 · Marius

hi, here you can see how the living room near the kitchen is looking like now. there are also some pics of where i installed isolation today (between already installed tubes. that wasn’t much fun of course *ugh*). we also had some very little snow in the suburb of detmold the plusvilla will be built (it’s the highest part of our town).

Day #88: OSB-Plates Main Living Room & Framework Gone (Finally)

Sunnuntaina 13. joulukuuta 2009 · Marius

moi, i promised pics and now here are plenty of them. i spent the day fixing the battens in the rest of the living room and kitchen. near the kitchen i needed to adjust the height, as we will need that space for placing the schist. next was to place the osb-plates. unfortunately one of the osb-plates had minor different measures which made it very hard to put them together. i also cut the battens for the bathroom. there you can also see that the installation elements for the toilet had already been installed by peter. enjoy the pics…

Day #87: Fixing Minor Small Ground Isolation Things

Perjantaina 11. joulukuuta 2009 · Marius

terve, i went to the site to fix three minor bugs within the ground isolation i noticed some weeks earlier. i never had the time to fix it earlier. well… now it’s fixed. the framework is also gone. i couldn’t check the site completely today as i only stepped in for a few minutes. more tomorrow (as well as pics).

Day #82: Painting Window Frameboards & Chimney Foundation

Sunnuntaina 6. joulukuuta 2009 · Marius

terve, today i decided to paint the natural frameboards around the windows black as well. i noticed that the almost white colour of the polar spruce was ruining the design of the fassade as it didn’t make it look more harmonic. so i quickly went on the still standing framework and started painting. in the end i’ve been very happy that i’ve done this. it looks a lot better now.

once that had been finished i installed the osb-plates as this will be the chimney foundation. to use the space in the sleeping room, i did also install osb-plates there to store STEICO canaflex packets there.

Day #81: Bath Isolation & Railing

Lauantaina 5. joulukuuta 2009 · Marius

terve, today i did the isolation for the sauna and bathroom. peter did install all the tubes for fresh and waste water during the week. he also already did the kitchen part installation. so i did cut all the isolation and placed it carefully between the wooden beams. next was installing the battens in the sleeping room. tomorrow i’ll probably put osb-plates there as well. last but not least the railing had been installed (at least major parts). i don’t have any pics of it yet, as it had been already too dark for my iphone.

Day #77, 78, 79, 80: Installation Of Sanitary Tubes & Windows Boards

Lauantaina 5. joulukuuta 2009 · Marius

terve, i’m apologizing for being late with entries. well … no pics because it always had been dark when i arrived at the site. i have to say: framework is still there (but that’s not our problem). as well the windows boards on exterior wall became finished. also peter did proceed very fast installing all the tube in the floor for the sanitary installation. i will do some pictures of it tomorrow when i’m at the site. what worried me a bid is that i couldn’t find the roll with power chord earlier this evening… so i couldn’t switch on lights. *bummer*. anyhow… tomorrow i’ll close the bathroom floor with isolation and continue installing battens and osb-panels, so that main floor becomes more and more closed. i’m sure we’ll proceed fast. i’ll promise to do some pics of this weeks work tomorrow.

we’ll spend the evening on the annual christmas booth of german-finnish association (DFG Lippe e.V.), which is supported i. e. by my parents since decades. on the booth local people can buy lapinkulta as well as hirvis and other interesting stuff. please note: detmold has a city partnership with savonlinna.
