todays job had been to close the floor in the living room as far as possible. due to a fault of mine we needed to wait until peter came back to the site (as i’ve hit a copper tube with one of the screws almost perfectly two weeks ago).

parallel tiling work continued by inserting the pavement to the shower area.

here you can see the bathroom wall with the first tiles on it… and finally how it looked by the end of the day. also the washing table became its first tiles. after thinking about it for a while i decided to miter the tiles instead of using any jolly bars.

here you can see that door and window in sleeping room also got their frames already. also i decided to misuse the window protectors as floor bars, as this fits better to plusvilla design (at least i hope it does).

before tiling work could start the washing table needed to be constructed.

hi. today alex started his tiling work. first it had been necessary to ground the floor and side, to protect house from any water damage. as you can see, i’m no longer allowed to enter my bathroom for the moment.

moi, today we had some glass work which needed to be done. staff also finalized the lower area of the sliding doors with special bitumen tape.

here we go with pics of todays work. the floor in the technic room has been finished. also the ceiling corner bars had been installed. also the area for the stone floor received some preparation work. last, the kitchen received it’s last wall panel to make the cabinets look flying.

also our neighbour continued his house renovation. well… he promised us once again he won’t dismantle the whole house.

moi, the kitchen has been finished. the BAX staff had been impressively fast in installing everything.

terve. this morning the kitchen arrived safely. well… i’ve got to mention i didn’t had to travel far, as it’s coming from local company BAX. so far everything looks brilliant. i really liked the haptics of the object, as it feels really soft.

terve. first of all apologies for having no pics of today’s work… but i simply forgot to take pics. the floor in one of the smaller rooms which i started yesterday has now been finished. what always sucks is installing the last boards: it is almost impossible to get them in as you can’t hammer as usual. i also cleaned the FERMACELL of spayed out glew. last, i prepared the area around the kitchen for scheduled kitchen setup.

terve, i did some more square meters of the floor. as you can see, i’ve now also already started with one of the smaller rooms. during midday my electrician arrived surprisingly to finish most of his work. he did install the power for pressure drainage and also all switches and plugs. here the decision went for BUSCH & JÄGER future linear series. please note, we now also got our door bell.
